pcems research
Pinellas County EMS has an active and growing prehospital research program. Dr. Lozano heads our efforts and works closely with the other EMS Medical Directors: Dr. Henderson our clinical anthropologist, Teagen Smith our USF biostatistician, and many paramedics and EMTs from around the system interested in research.
System Clinicians who want to get involved in research projects should attend the monthly quality meetings or reach out to Dr. Lozano directly.
