We are excited to welcome Dr. Leming to our team of On-Line Medical Control Physicians!

From Dr. Leming:

Hi everyone! I grew up in Pinellas County, so this is home for me. I attended the University of South Florida for both undergraduate and Medical School. I then moved to Delaware to train at Christiana Care Medical System for residency where I began to learn about disaster medicine and emergency management.

After residency, I completed a 2-year fellowship in Disaster Medicine at U Mass Memorial in Massachusetts while also completing a Master of Public Health degree with an emphasis on Emergency Management. Since completing my training, I have been very happy working at TGH Emergency Department alongside the USF EM residents. I also volunteer as the Mass Casualty Director for the Hillsborough Department of Health. Through my volunteer work, I have had the opportunity to help our region prepare for and respond to various disasters, one such example being Hurricane Irma.

When not working, I enjoy spending time with my husband and our 2-year-old daughter, running, reading and planning our next travel adventure. I am excited for the opportunity to learn from one another and to help the people of our community!
